Supported by an enthusiastic staff, our sales-oriented Employee Benefits Producer will identify, prospect and close new Employee Benefits accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping informed of industry developments, remaining consistently engaged in team initiatives and establishing yourself as a partner with current and potential clients to become their insurance broker/agent, trusted advisor, and community leader.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Current California Life & Health Insurance License, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record;
  • 3+ years of experience in Group Insurance;
  • A demonstrated ability to build a good community of trusted-business advisors and relationships;
  • A willingness to pursue and close sales of new and existing group employee benefits accounts, and retain book of business;
  • Successful and proven sales experience in the employee group benefits profession;
  • Strong connections in the Sacramento Valley with a number of influential spheres of business leaders in their contact database;
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong familiarity with internet is also required;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with good command of the English language; and
  • A keen sense of humor, a competitive drive and winning spirit!
